A family story, born in Ischia
The idea for Barracuda was conceived in 1975 by Enzo and his wife Waltraut, on a family-owned plot of land in the hills of Campagnano.
In 1976, the project became a reality, and Barracuda opened its doors for the first time. Since then, this seaside spot has welcomed thousands of guests, becoming part of their memories of Ischia over the years.
Our bond with the sea
The sea has always inspired our dishes, scents, colours and the view that accompanies every lunch and dinner.
A story that continues
In 2000, the Barracuda passed to the new generation, marking the start of a new chapter in its history.
A process of gradual renewal began, transforming and modernizing the entire property over the years while preserving its family spirit, welcoming atmosphere, and deep connection to the location.

Today, Barracuda is the result of more than fifty years of history and continuous evolution.
A more intimate and contemporary place, where dining and hospitality come together in a unique setting overlooking the Aragonese Castle, the Gulf of Naples and the island of Procida.
Much has changed since 1976. The view, our love for this place and the pleasure of welcoming our guests have remained the same.
